Do you have a plan if a customer, staff member or volunteer falls seriously ill or becomes injured while at your facility? Basic first aid and lifesaving CPR skills can make a difference.
This 3-hour training is an instructor led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond and to manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrive. It is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training. Due to the nature of the training only 20 participants will be registered per session.
Training participants will learn how to:
- Provide first aid
- Perform CPR
- Use an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) in a safe, timely and effective manner.
After the training is completed each participant will receive a certification card from the American Heart Association (through the mail) which is valid for two years.
Registration and certification fee is $20.00 and must be paid prior to training date. No fees will be collected at the door. No cancellation refunds will be given unless cancelled 72 hours in advance of training. Register early, spots will fill fast.
