A
great way to support Operation Feed is
to participate in the National Association of Letter Carriers “Stamp
Out Hunger” Food Drive – the largest one-day food drive in the
nation. On Saturday, May 10th, postal customers can
leave bags of groceries at their mailboxes and local letter carriers
will collect the food.
In the past five years, local carriers collected over 580,000 pounds
of food for Operation Feed.

After
a rainy start, the skies cleared for the WBNS-10TV Food Parade on April
26th. It was held for the first time at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.
Over 1,700 carloads of people made food donations in exchange for free admission to the Zoo.
Highlights of the day included a special guest appearance by Jack Hanna and a variety of zoo animals. The Food Parade raised nearly 56,000 meals to benefit Operation Feed.
