Sixteen million dollars. That’s how much it will cost to purchase, renovate, and equip the new facility at 3960 Brookham Drive. It’s a tremendous goal, but we know that the impact of raising this money—and building this new facility—will make an impact so tremendous we can’t begin to quantify it.

$467,763. That's what stands between us and a facility that enables Mid-Ohio Foodbank to do so much more. To pay for this new facility—the most ambitious effort in our history—we’re counting on the generosity of this community, those of you who share our belief that no child, senior citizen, or adult should ever experience hunger.

Your capital campaign donation will also help us meet an important challenge issued to us from The Kresge Foundation, one of the nation’s most respected grant-making organizations. If we reach our $16 million goal by March 31, 2010, Kresge will award us $1,450,000 to help pay for the building. This is an “all or nothing” challenge, which means that we need the community’s help to ensure we reach our goal.
