Giving takes time
Nearly 20 percent of the food we receive must be sorted and packaged before it’s delivered to people in need. Whether it’s one day a year or an hour a week, your hands-on contributions of time and energy help us get food where and when it’s needed most.
One person or a big group. Weekend or weekday. Morning or evening. We work with you to arrange a volunteer opportunity that suits you.
Ways to Give Time
FOOD RECLAMATION & REPACKAGING
Inspect and determine the safety of donated foods that were damaged at the grocery store and taken off the shelves. Or label, sort, and box food into usable sizes.
SPECIAL PROJECTS
Help out at special community events or serve on an event committee.
SINGLES NIGHT
Join us the each month for singles’ volunteer night. You must be 21 or older to participate.
